Ellarose Kaylor may be 10 years old, but she is already a force to be reckoned with, in both the entertainment industry and the world of competitive ice skating. On Friday, April 16th, Ellarose will release her latest music video for her hit song, 'I Still Believe'. The video follows the January release of the song which she co-wrote alongside singer/songwriter, Kirstin Collings. Set amid the snowy mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho, the video showcases her ice-skating ability as well as her beautiful singing voice. 'I Still Believe' is an anthem about believing in yourself and never giving up.
Best known for her role of Josie in the family film, Next Level, this is the first time Ellarose has incorporated her passion for performing with her talent as a competitive ice skater.
“I wanted to incorporate ice skating because I constantly have to keep believing in myself as I advance in the sport.”
While the temperature in Sun Valley may have been frigid, the ice skating was red hot. Alongside fellow skaters, Nicole Duke and Nix Phengy, combined with the direction and choreography of ice-skating coach Brianna Weissmann Barajas, Ellarose’s toe-tapping message of positivity ring loud and clear as the video flow effortlessly between ice princess and young songstress.
Not only is Ellarose the shining star of I Still Believe, but she is proud to say that she worked on the video from concept to finished product. With the help of a talented cast and crew, Ellarose’s vision came to life against the snowcapped mountains of Sun Valley. When asked what her inspiration was for the video, Ellarose said, “I hope this video and my song encourage people everywhere to believe in themselves and never give up. Find that fire inside yourself and believe, no matter what challenges you have.”
Wise beyond her years, this pintsize powerhouse certainly proves that if you believe in yourself, you are unstoppable.
'I Still Believe' is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and Amazon Music
