Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion returned to Instagram and addressed the recent shooting incident that occurred back in mid-July.
Breaking her silence, Megan cleared up the rumors and shared that she was shot in both of her feet. Not naming who the shooter was, she stated that although the bullets didn't hit any major tendons, this was the worst experience she's ever had in her life.
Sharing her emotions in a tearful Instagram Live, Megan expressed the disgust she has of all of those trying to make a joke out of a serious situation "y'all take y'all whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a diary" Megan shared.
At just 25 years old, Megan opened up about the loss of her parents and shared that both of these experiences have allowed her to put into perspective who she should be keeping around her.
After finally being ready to share a little bit of her truth, Megan said that she will be continuing to take this time to heal but to also protect her energy and visualize how she will be moving forward as time continues.
"I thought I was ready to give good energy to other people and other people weren't ready to give good energy to me," Megan stated as she exchanged how this incident affected her.
Feeling a lot better, Megan wants us to know that despite the emotional rollercoaster, she is alive and well and ready to get back to regularly scheduled programming.
Ending the Live by thanking all of her supporters and those who have had her back during this discouraging time, Megan also wants us to know that this experience will not be changing who she is, just how she will be distributing her energy.
