Blac Chyna is calling out NBC along with the Kardashian clan for alleged racism and the Kardashian are blasting her frivolous claim. Back in 2017 Chyna filed a lawsuit against the entire Kardashian family claiming they convinced producers and the network to cancel her reality show with her ex Rob Kardashian.
The lawsuit was filed a month after Rob Kardashian and sister Kylier Jenner sued Chyna for battery following an incident involving a phone charger cord. Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, claims the Peacock network never informed Chyna or her team of any allegations made by the Kardashian family and that things wouldn’t have been handled in the same manner if Chyna was white.
A statement issued to Page Six read. "No one at NBCUniversal ever informed Chyna that Kris Jenner had secretly accused her of severely beating Rob. Next, without Chyna’s knowledge, Kris Jenner and three of her daughters (Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner) were able to convince E! executives that they needed to convene an emergency meeting to discuss the cancellation of Season 2 of ‘Rob & Chyna’ based on the false accusation that Chyna had severely beaten Rob."
The Kardashian's lawyer Marty Singer also released a statement to TMZ regarding the matter. "This is a 2 year old lawsuit in which Chyna has changed her defense more times than we can count. Sadly, unsurprising to anyone, she has stooped to a new low, changing her defense to try to leverage the emotions and pain of the moment, insulting the pain and suffering of real victims of racial injustice and systemic racism."
With all that's going on in the world today, I would hate to imagine someone using the racism card for financial gain. However it is very suspicious that this is the first time this accusation came up. To be honest it's very difficult to have a reality show based on a couple's relationship when they're no longer together, for those of us who watched the short lived show we saw how the toxicity in that relationship. So I doubt racism or pettiness had anything to do with the show getting canceled.
