After allegations surfaced of Ellen Degeneres causing a toxic work environment and mishandling microaggressions and racism on her daytime talk show, NBC is reportedly looking for a replacement to replace The Ellen Degeneres Show.

After news broke last Thursday, Wale took to Twitter and expressed his idea of what he thinks TV deserves.

In a tweet, Wale makes known his skill of persuasive speaking and expressive nature while confirming that he can be what TV needs. “I think I provide an informative entertaining brand of chaos day time TV deserves,” Wale continued. “So again please..let me host da show.”

Wale indirectly asked for the opportunity to prove himself and that he has a solid list of celebrity contacts that back up his argument.

Other talk shows hosted on NBC have been said to give more black artists a chance to sit in and host their widely known talk shows. During a pre-planned vacation, Jimmy Fallon will be bringing on Chris Rock and Anthony Anderson to host The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in his absence.

More representation in all categories and segments of black artists can be what TV needs to jumpstart diversity behind and in front of the camera.
