Verzuz Battles Are Fun, but Apparently They Aren't for Everyone

Thanks to Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, we've been able to see some of our favorite artists go head to head on Instagram live and take us on a trip down memory lane. The Verzuz battles have blessed us with fire collaborations like Erykah Badu vs. Jill Scott, Ludacris vs. Nelly, and most recently Snoop Dogg vs. DMX.

We aren't sure what artists will be next but it looks like it won't be Chris Brown or Bow Wow. The internet has requested a Verzuz battle from the both of them and they quickly let us know why that wouldn't be happening.

After fans suggested a Verzuz battle between Chris Brown and Usher, CB posted to his IG story saying,

"I could do a vs off features alone... So I'll humbly decline...I'm busy doing nothing😏"

Not only does he feel like his discography is too extensive but he thinks he'd be better off versing himself; as in Chris Brown vs. Chris Breezy. Whether he thinks he's above Verzuz battles or not, we don't know but Timbaland reposted Breezy's comments saying he has an idea...so maybe there's hope.

Bow Wow, on the other hand, didn't quite seem opposed to doing a Verzuz battle but rather felt like there was no one who'd really be a good match up. In a series of tweets, Bow Wow said in so many words that a Verzuz battle wouldn't make sense for him right now.

The idea of a battle with him and Omarion versus another rapper/R&B duo came up and Bow was down...So until then, we'll just have to wait and see what Timbaland and Swizz can cook up for the next Verzuz battle.
