Vegan Butter Chickpea Curry!

This butter chickpea curry is so good and by far the best curry we can ever make!


2 cups dried chickpeas, soaked overnight

2 tablespoons oil of choice

1 onion, diced

3 teaspoons minced garlic

1 teaspoon minced ginger


1 ½ teaspoons curry powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon turmeric

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne, adjust to taste

¼ teaspoon ground cumin

1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 ½ cups water

Add later:

1 green bell pepper, chopped into large pieces

½ cup (unsweetened) cream from the top of a can of full-fat coconut milk


Add the chickpeas, onions, tomato sauce and water into a pan to cook

Add the garlic, ginger and spices, and mix it all up

Leave on for about 7 minutes to cook and then add all the others ingredients!

Let it cook for another 5 minutes or until cooked and enjoy over white rice 😊
