Tory Lanez has been crucified on the internet following the accusations and now charges, for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Most fans were furious with how he handled the incident, dropping music instead of going live and disclosing what happened. So, last night he decided to do just that- to some extent.

The Canada rapper reached some 200K viewers last night as he attempted to further defend himself and pick apart Megan's story. Aspects of her story that he criticized included the following and some:

  1. Her willingness to protect him if he in fact, shot her.

  2. Her foot injuries, saying it's nearly impossible to miss all bones and tendons and there wasn't an exit wound from the bullet.

  3. Her ability to identify him as the shooter if she was shot from behind.

All of the above, he discusses in his recent album Daystar. In fact, Tory didn't disclose much of any NEW information in his live last night. Everything he discusses can be found in recent coverage of the incident and on his album. Here's the spark notes of his approximately 50-minute IG live:

- According to him, he did NOT shoot Megan Thee Stallion and the accusations are false. Two days following TMZ's initial article, RocNation called Tory and advised him NOT to make a statement as to what really happened. Shortly after, he was blamed for shooting Megan.

- He says he doesn't have a history of abuse toward women and that he doesn't deserve to be dragged. He still considers Megan a friend and he did not intend to bash her, but claims her statements are lies.

- He wanted to disclose what really happened but his lawyer advised him not to because it will be handled in the court of law. He apologizes to his fans for his initial lack of transparency and dealing with the situation "unconventionally" or possibly even insensitively [referring to dropping Daystar]. He concludes the live by spreading awareness of the #EndSARS movement and sending prayers to those dealing with it in Nigeria.

So far, this is Megan's response:
