The Hollywood Prayer Network is an on a mission to let the world that there are christians in Hollywood who can not only be a source for entertainment but praise Jesus at the same time.
The organization recently held its White Tie Christmas Fundraiser concert to celebrate its 20th anniversary and to raise money for the group to continue to grow and change lives in Hollywood by helping creatives as well as those in need. The event which took place at the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood was hosted by Edwina Findley (Tyler Perry's 'If Loving You Is Wrong') and Jonathan Roumie (The Chosen) and featured musical performances from various artists.
Aside from the actors turned hosts for the evening, the concert also featured musical performances from musicians such as Linda "Peaches" Tavani who performed her new single 'My Grownup Christmas List', singers LeRoy Mobley and Samantha Nelson-Phillip who performed renditions of Christmas classics, Teddy Obot & Megan Tibbits performed 'A Christmas Alleluia,' Ruzanna Tavmasyan performed her spoken word 'Come' with Alex Hitchens and so many more.
YourVoice Media was on hand at the event and I got to speak with some of the performers including Edwina Findley who talked about her involvement with the organization and her role on 'Tyler Perry's If Loving You Is Wrong', along with performers LeRoy Mobley, Linda "Peaches" Tavani and Samantha Nelson-Phillip who all shared why the Hollywood Prayer Network is important to them.
The Hollywood Prayer Network also serves as a source for those in Hollywood who may not be so fortunate. The group has used its platform to host the Hollywood Winter Refuge giving back to those in need and the concert also served as a tool to accept donations and necessities for mothers of the Young Lives organization.
Of it's $50,000 goal, The Hollywood Prayer Network has so far earned nearly $34,000 and counting. If you want to donate and learn more on the organization you can do so by clicking this link.
