After being released from prison early due to the coronavirus, 6ix9ine dropped his first post-prison track on Friday, also his birthday, titled "GOOBA."
Rumors of new music from the Brooklyn rapper were confirmed on a billboard that hung Thursday in New York's Times Square. He also announced on Instagram that he would be going live at 3 PM as well.
Meek Mill had some commentary, tweeting "I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim..." among other things. 6ix9ine clapped back under The Shade Room's re-post and before we knew it, subs were flying like it was World War III.
"Now you just a informant behind a keyboard tryna troll families you ruined so it's not gone hit the same..."

To get a gist of Meek's feelings on the topic, check out this old freestyle he posted following his twitter rant.
Despite what the Philadelphia rapper had to say, the rest of the world tuned into 6ix9ine's new song and Instagram live- both instantly doing numbers. The music video skyrocketed within hours and his Instagram live broke records, getting over 2 million viewers.
During his Instagram live he admits to being a snitch without remorse. He apologizes to his fans and family for potentially putting them in danger but claims he did nothing wrong. He tops it off by calling himself, “the biggest artist in the f*cking world,” and goes on to make jokes about himself being a rat.
As for “GOOBA” Meek Mill thinks it’s trash but it continues to do numbers sitting at number 4 on Apple music and over 30 million views on YouTube. Now whether his success will continue beyond the internet trolling, we'll have to wait and see.
