Eight years ago, Lizzy Abegg needed to move to Byron Bay to help her little sister grow a jewelry business, which is now called Spell & the Gypsy Collective, a multi-million dollar fashion empire.

From there the label has expanded into fashion, accessories and homewares, and they recently won the overall national Telstra Business Award. Spell & the Gypsy Collective is a modern-bohemian fashion brand inspired by far-off places, vintage treasures and childhood memories. Spell's flowing, feminine dresses, love of turquoise, florals and age-old lace, whisper to the sisters' own childhood. The mood of the Spell & the Gypsy Collective collections is to emphasize the woman's spirit of beauty and freedom in every moment of her life and wherever she is.
