Simone Azzi is a mother, wife, small business owner, and successful real estate agent in Sydney’s vibrant and thriving Inner City.
I have been in the industry now for 16 years, a Director at Belle Property @belleannandale, and absolutely love it. Working with my clients to sell their homes and often start a new chapter in their lives is incredibly exciting and rewarding. I lost my brother 10 years ago to suicide and after his death, I felt a huge desire to giving back and philanthropy. I am heavily involved in giving back and support a number of charity organizations such as the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse (A large Cancer hospital here in Sydney), The Run for Good Project @therunforgoodproject, and I am an Ambassador for Will 2 Live @will2live_charity, a charity who helps to feed and house the homeless community in Sydney. I feel as a successful businesswoman who has built a reasonably strong profile, it is my duty to promote awareness, understanding, and support for those less fortunate. As the incredible Oprah Winfrey once said, “To move forward you have to give back. You cannot continue to succeed in the world or have a fulfilling life in the world unless you choose to use your life in the service somehow to others and give back what you have been given.”

Simone's Interview:
YV: What motivated you to start a career in real estate and to launch Belle property?
Simone: I started in Sales in my family business which was a successful car dealership in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. After working all throughout my school years and right after graduating I felt something was pulling me towards property. I would often attend in-room Auctions in Double Bay with my father who is also a property investor and instantly fell in love. 16 years later and I wouldn’t change a thing. I actually joined Belle Property Annandale almost 13 years ago as a personal assistant and worked my way up to my current role in the business. We have an incredible team who is excited and pumped to come to work every day. It's really rewarding now growing the team and mentoring the junior staff who have incredible careers ahead of them. YV: Would you ever start your own non-profit organization?
Simone: This is a huge dream of mine I am currently working on. Nothing makes me happier than giving back to those who have been dealt some difficult blows in life. We may not change the world by helping 1 person but our help may change that 1 person's whole world. I like to remind myself of this on a daily basis. All baby steps but for a greater cause. YV: One piece of advice you would give to anyone looking to purchase a new home.
Simone: Stick to a budget, look for position, aspect, walkability to amenities. You can always do cosmetic updates later on. YV: Out of all your “titles" what would you say is your favorite?
Simone: Mother, by far. The hardest but most rewarding job on the planet. God has blessed me with 2 beautiful children and for that, I wake up grateful each and every day. YV: Do you plan on venturing into any philanthropic endeavors?
Simone: Yes I would love to, I have a few more years in me with work but setting up my own charity to help others achieve their dreams would be the ultimate goal.
YV: If given the chance would you do anything differently in your career path?
Simone: No nothing – I never have regrets, only lessons.
