Many of us have missed seeing the witty comeback queen, Phaedra Parks on TV since her departure from that messy season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. This summer she's making a return on the WE TV series Marriage Bootcamp: Hip-Hop edition. Parks will be joined on the show by her boyfriend, actor Medina Islam whom she began dating last year.
Islam is most known for his role as Quincy on Tyler Perry's hit show The Haves and the Have Nots, he also serves as a ghostwriter for some of the most influential rappers. During a 2019 People interview, Parks revealed that they officially met through a dating app, but she knew Islam from the Atlanta area. Parks went public with their relationship on Instagram last fall.
Prior to dating Islam, Parks started 2019 off with Chicago based DJ Tone Kapone but have since called it quits. Islam also dated another former cast-member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Claudia Jordan. The rest of the cast include Tahiry Jose, Vado, Willie Taylor, Hazel-E, Toni Calvert, Kurrupt, De'von Waller, and Shanda Denyce. This season is set to premiere Thursday July 2nd, check the trailer out below.
