Kanye West has made comments about running for president for some time now, so his tweet on July 4th wasn't taken too seriously. Although, his recent interview with Forbes confirmed the rumors and he is indeed running for president.
"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States !#2020VISION

In an article released by Forbes this morning, the G.O.O.D Music founder discussed his stance on political issues, his campaign, his seriousness about running and more. When the artist announced it on twitter many combatted its legitimacy with the fact that he was missing deadlines in multiple states and that he had no campaign team.
As far as his team, we know of two endorsers so far, his wife Kim Kardashian-West and Elon Musk, CEO/founder of SpaceX and more. In the interview he also announced his running mate, a Wyoming preacher named Michelle Tidball.
As for missing state deadlines, Ye plans to tackle those issues with coronavirus concerns (which he discussed suffering from back in February). Instead of running under the Democratic or Republican party, he says he'll be running under the Birthday Party, "Because when we win, it's everybody's birthday..."
He also denounces his support for Trump and discloses his stance on being Pro-life, saying that Planned Parenthoods were installed by "...white supremacists to do the Devil's work." Celebs like Matt Barnes and DJ Hed have already expressed their disagreement on the matter.
Now we want to hear from you; would you vote for Kanye West? Comment below and let us know!
