Ever since August Alsina spilled his tea about him and Jada's relationship in an interview with Angela Yee, we've all been wondering was is true? Will Jada come forward and speak on it? Well, today we got the answers and details we've been waiting for. During a red table talk segment with her husband Will , Jada admitted to having a relationship with August four years ago. At the start of the affair, Jada and Will we're going through a rough patch and we're separated.
At the time, Jada claimed she thought the separation was going to be indefinite and didn't think Will was going to want to reconcile. Both Jada and August stated the relationship started out platonic, initially it was about August's health and trying to help him heal.
However, Jada did have an issue with August's claim that Will gave him his blessing before pursuing Jada.
She stated "the only person that can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself. But what August was probably trying to communicate—because I can see how he would perceive it as permission. Because we were separated amicably. And I think he also wanted to make it clear that he’s not a homewrecker. Which he’s not."
Will then asked what was she looking to gain during their time apart, Jada stated "I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good. And it was really a joy to help heal somebody. I think that has a lot to do with my co-dependency which is another thing I had to learn to break in the cycle: that need to fix and being drawn to people that need help. There’s something about that childhood trauma that feels as though it can be fixed through fixing people versus fixing me. And that process with August showed me that and taught me that."
