Last night, BET helped us celebrate the best in hip-hop with the 15th annual BET Hip Hop Awards. Very different from what we're used to, BET still created that aura of the Hip Hop Awards preceding it with fire performances, cyphers, celebrity guests and more!

The show was hosted by the 85 South Show comedy trio, DC Young Fly, Chico Bean and Karlous Miller and featured performances by Tobe Nwigwe, Big Latto, Lil Baby, Jhene Aiko, Big Sean, and more! The show definitely had a lot of GREAT moments, so bear with me as I try to narrow it down 5 highlights.

1. The City Girls delivered a sexy performance that had them trending everywhere. Their cheetah themed performance of "P*ssy Talk" and "Jobs" showed off their choreo skills and their Meg Knees!

2. Fans got to reminisce as a performance dedicated to the late Pop Smoke, shook the room. Quavo helped to make sure the smoke will never clear while performing "Shake the Room" and "Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon." Pop also won Best New Artist.

3. Kamala Harris made an appearance to stress the importance of voting and supporting HBCUs, prior to my next high light!

4. Kamala's words transitioned us into one of the most lit performances of the night, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne performing "Money Maker." The HBCU Homecoming-styled performance, accompanied by a powerful spoken word gave viewers life!

5. Finally, I think the fan fav of the award show has to go to the final cypher of the evening, being an R&B cypher. It featured Teyana Taylor, H.E.R, Erykah Badu and Brandy over the beat to her song, "I Wanna Be Down."

Some other major moments include Master P winning the I Am Hip Hop Honoree Award, guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, T.I., Monica and more. There were also a few big awards that had to be announced via social media, such as Megan Thee Stallion winning Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Roddy Ricch Winning Hip Hop Album of the Year, and Future and Drake winning Best Hip Hop Video; just to name a few.
