Lebanese born, Hass Idriss started to take interest in art and painting at the age of 11 and by 199, he presented his first solo exhibition in his hometown.
Passionately triggered by art, Hass decided to graduate in Central Saint Martins London where he approached the world of fashion working with David LaChapelle, Marie Amelie Sauve, Alexander Mc Queen and many other big names. Currently based in Beirut he launched his first collection during London Fashion Week in 2009 after completing his studies.
Today the young Lebanese designer is growing his own eponymous brand working in his native country gaining a big prestigious clientele all around the world. His collections are full of elaborate embroideries with big graphic structures and touches of leather: his aim is to explore the different perceptions of a dazed mind, the deep bond between mother nature and human emotions.
He says: “ The turning point of my career was when I stopped doing what I thought people wanted and decided to give them what I wanted to see. I told myself that even if I failed, I would fail at doing what I love”.
