GREEK CHICKEN DINNER

Ingredients:


TZATZIKI SAUCE

  • 2 (8 ounce) containers plain yogurt

  • 2 cucumbers - peeled, seeded and diced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ½ lemon, juiced

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled

THE CHICKEN

  • 4 chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • Pita bread

Instructions:

  • Step 1 - Mix all of the tzatziki ingredients together cover and chill in the fridge

  • Step 2 - While that it chilling season the chicken with the garlic and onion powder as well as the salt and pepper.

  • Step 3 - While that is marinating, get a cast iron searing hot and sear the chicken on both sides for 1.5 minutes then place in a 350 degree oven for 17 minutes.

  • Step 4 - Chop the chicken into cubes once it has rested to make it easier to eat

  • Step 5 - Plate and serve with the warm pita on the side
