There are two young girls behind the For Love & Lemons brand, friends from an early age whom fate wanted to meet after different life experiences, sharing the same passion for fashion.
Minnesota-born Laura Hall moved to Wyoming when she was 12 years old where she met for the first time her future best friend Gillian Rose Kern born in Wyoming: they became best friends as girls managing a lemonade stand together (hence the cute name of their brand For Love & Lemons). The story of For Love & Lemons, born in 2011, is really interesting: after college and living in Australia for a year doing fashion internship, the two girls return to Wyoning and got waitress jobs to save up money to start their fashion line.
They make the first collection sewing after work. Surprisingly some photos reached a couple of buyers who were interested in the collection: from there it was a slow and steady evolution.
The main feature of For Love & Lemons is certainly that of being anything but conventional: it rebels against societal standards and rules.The For Love & Lemons woman is self-confident, feminine and strong: unafraid to take risks, forge her own way and loves adventure: the mission is to inspire women to embrace their uniqueness in all aspects of life.
