Fe Noel

Written by: Patrizia Bertucci @fashion_whispers

Felisha Noel Is a Self-Taught Designer founder of Fe Noel brand.

Although Noel had an innate drive toward fashion when she started, launching her own line wouldn’t be easy.

In 2011, Felisha Noel closed The Wagon, a boutique she co-owned and ran for four years. Devastated by that, but didn't expect that about eight years later until Michell Obama would be wearing a Fe Noel design.

Having no formal design training, designing her first collection was a trial and error process.

“I’m learning as I go,” Noel shared...and as I keep going, it gets better and better. …

Having no investors or a business loan from a finanical institution, she set up her production house in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in the basement of her mom’s day care. Her mother and uncle  loaned her some money for capital and she starter selling directly to consumers through her website.

Fe Noel style can be defined as simply silhouettes, bold prints with an innovative mix of sensibility and sensuality....created for multifaceted women that love travels and glam.

The sleek 100% silk and the way it sensually drapes across the body are just two of our favorite things about the Half Sleeve Tie Dress. And with our Champagne and Mace color options competing for your attention, we wouldn't blame you if you couldn't decide between the two! 📷 @itayshaphoto

Daughter of the Soil

Like the billowing sails on a boat cruising the Caribbean Sea, she is connected yet free.

The Goddess Gown (seen with Lambskin Apron Skirt) is still our favorite floor skimming statement piece.

This palette was inspired by the faint rust color that peeks through when the sun sets in the caribbean.
