If we think of trends that are constantly changing and which affect our way of being, we immediately think of clothing, shoes and fashion accessories in general.

In reality, trends also have a great influence on hair style, on make-up and it is in this area that we can identify a trend that has seen continuous changes over the years: eyebrows styling. Eyebrows are a fundamental point of our face: they frame our gaze and give personality to our face. More and more makeup companies have focused on eyebrow and makeup products and makeup artists have become famous thanks to their art of making them unique and perfect for every face. But the eyebrows that we can define fashionable today, that is, thick and wildly natural like Cara Delevigne and Kim Kardashian are certainly not the ones that we can find in the past.

So how has the eyebrow trend changed over the decades? Let's have a look...

Let's start from the 20s-30s in which the eyebrows were almost inconsistent thin like those of Josephine Baker or Greta Garbo.

But already in the 40s-50s we found them changed with softer and more natural lines like those of Grace Kelly or Marilyn Monroe.

In the 1960s there was no real one-off trend, but a mix of thin and arched lines and at the same time defined and rounded like Sophia Loren.

Same double trend in the 70s where the rebellious and natural style is opposed with thin eyebrows even completely depicted as the Italian singer Mina. The '80s instead see thick and dark unkempt eyebrows ... do you remember Madonna's look?

The 90s, those of the Top Models, are characterized by more subtle and slightly arched eyebrows like Kate Moss or Pamela Anderson.

In the 2000s we find them very thin and formless like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera.

And here we are in our day, a turning point for the eyebrows style: finally we understand that

there cannot be a single trend that is good for everyone and that each face requires different shapes and proportions ... and so the eyebrows become thicker, natural but  well outlined.

On the market we see dozens and dozens of products for the care and styling up to the microblading the natural filling technique with tattoo of every single hair.

Do you see yourself in one of these trends?
