Eva Marcille has been a popular addition to The Real Housewives of Atlanta Since her first appearance on the show back in 2018. After more than two seasons, the model and TV personality won't be returning to the show as a main cast member, instead she will spend her time on air as a morning show host.

Due to Marcille wanting to focus more time on her new husband and three kids, Marcille's decision to leave the cast was influenced by being a voice for things that actually matter, instead of collecting "reality show checks."

"I have a six-year-old daughter and two young boys still in diapers,” “they're 24-hours a day, and there's a lot of work to be done. “ Marcille shared on air with The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

While on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Marcille got married to her now husband Michael Sterling and had two children, Michael Todd Sterling Jr. "Maverick Sterling". As a few fans previously expressed that Marcille didn't belong on the show to begin with, Marcille is leaving with lasting bonds and strong ties to the Bravo TV network. Upon making her announcement, Marcille expressed the love she has for everyone and the successful wishes she has for all of her former cast members.

Also on the morning show, Marcille added that she is looking forward to serving her community by focusing on other opportunities as well as looking forward to being a strong voice for the current movements aiding people of color.

As the airing of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13 has yet to be announced, and a possibility of being delayed due to the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, Marcille will still be busy but now with the promotion of her CBD oil company and her new bedding line.
