In a world where craftsmanship, consciousness, and creativity rarely share the same room, Joshua “OG Yesh” Miller sits boldly at the center—building, healing, and innovating in every direction. As the founder of Renovation Kingz LLC and Epoxy Kingz, Josh has redefined what it means to transform a space, elevating homes with luxury finishes, artistic epoxy designs, and construction grounded in skill and intention.

But his impact stretches far beyond the physical. As the creator of the Mental Magik series, Josh teaches the spiritual architecture behind emotional intelligence, metaphysics, and ancient wisdom—guiding people in building internal foundations just as powerfully as he builds external ones.

This feature explores the evolution of a man committed to elevating homes, minds, and lives—one remodel, one ritual, and one breakthrough at a time.

Josh, you’re known for building both physical spaces and spiritual understanding. When did you first realize you had gifts in both worlds?

Honestly, I’ve been building since I was a kid. I was rearranging rooms and taking things apart just to understand how they worked. I was also using action figures to build whole alternate realities. But spiritually, the shift came later. I realized I wasn’t just a builder of homes. I was also a builder of energy, and perspective. Both worlds developed at the same time; I just didn’t have the language for it yet."

How did your upbringing and early environment shape the creator, builder, and thinker you are today?

Growing up, I saw both sides of life — the pressure and the potential. I had to become resourceful early. I watched a lot, observed, and learned how to move through challenges without losing my mind. That gave me discipline, a certain toughness, and a spiritual sensitivity most people skip over. My environment forced me to create my own lane instead of waiting for someone to hand me one. "

Renovation Kingz and Epoxy Kingz have become recognized for luxury transformations. What inspired you to start these companies?

I wanted to bring excellence into the trades. For me, construction isn’t just labor — it’s artistry. Renovation Kingz and Epoxy Kingz were my way of elevating the standard, creating luxury in everyday homes, and showing that craftsmanship still exists..

What’s a project that challenged you the most—and taught you something new about your craft or yourself?

There was a bathroom project where everything went wrong — rotten floors, damaged joists, hidden plumbing issues. I had to rebuild the space from the inside out. It taught me patience, leadership, and also how to stand firm when people try to twist a narrative. It showed me my value and helped me trust my instinct even more.

As you pursue your Georgia GC license, how do you envision expanding your construction empire?

My plan is to step into bigger structures — commercial builds, multi-family renovations, and full-scale luxury design. The GC license is the key that unlocks the next level. Once that’s in place, Renovation Kingz becomes a full-service construction empire with systems, crews, and a presence across the Southeast. It’ll provide education and apprenticeships into the rising demand of the trades and help bridge the gap between the old generation and the next generation of construction and remodeling."

What inspired the creation of the Mental Magik series?

Mental Magik came from the work I had to do within myself. I wanted to take deep esoteric truths (chakras, mythology, shadow work) and make them simple enough for anybody to understand. It’s everything I wish I had growing up: clarity, guidance, and real tools for emotional mastery. Knowing how taking control of my own life empowered me in ways I’d never imagined, I wanted to share that experience with the rest of the world.

Chakra science and shadow work play a huge role in your philosophy. What are some of the most misunderstood concepts you hope to simplify?

People think spirituality is either too “spooky” or too complicated. I want to show that chakras are just energy centers tied to your psychology. Shadow work is just emotional honesty. None of it is mystical for the sake of being mystical — it’s practical. Once people understand that, they unlock themselves. You essentially become your own therapist and dig deep into the parts of yourself that you forgotten were there.

How do you stay grounded while juggling construction, writing, AI development, and spiritual teaching?

I stay grounded by staying principled. I move with intention and I don’t force anything. When I’m creating, I’m fully present. When I’m building, I’m locked in. And spiritually, I stay aligned through ritual, silence, and listening to my intuition early.

Your mission touches homes, hearts, and human consciousness. What do you feel is the bigger purpose behind everything you create?

Elevation. Everything I touch whether it’s a bathroom, a book, or a digital system is meant to raise someone’s quality of life. I want people to feel more grounded, more empowered, and more aligned with their purpose. A blueprint. I want to show that a Black man from my background can build both physical wealth and spiritual depth. I want my work to outlive me in homes I built, books I wrote, lives I shifted, and systems I created.

For someone reading this who wants to transform their life—where should they begin?

Start with honesty. Get real about where you are, what you’ve avoided, and what’s calling you. Once you face yourself, the path opens. From there, build discipline, study your patterns, and move with intention. Everything else unfolds.

Joshua “OG Yesh” Miller is more than a contractor, artist, or author—he is a builder shaping the future of craft, consciousness, and creativity. Whether he’s elevating a home with luxury finishes or elevating a spirit with Mental Magik wisdom, he brings the same intention: to help people rise into their highest potential.

His work reminds us that transformation isn’t just something we witness— it’s something we build. Brick by brick. Lesson by lesson. Ritual by ritual.

As Josh continues expanding his businesses, teachings, and innovations, one thing is certain: he is constructing a legacy that will stand tall in both the physical and spiritual worlds.
