Animaniacs Are BACK! And Are Going To Shaking The Conversation Again For Season Two

Written by Ty Cole @tycoletv

The Animaniacs are BACK to shake the table and social media as the brand new season is upon us. Hulu's Emmy award-winning animated series returns this week with Yakko, Wakko, and Dot discussing conversations centered around pop culture parodies, musical showstoppers, takedowns of historical baddies, and important safety tips. In addition to our favorite trio, Pinky, and the Brain are back to join in on the mischievous fun along with some rejected Animaniacs characters that were left on the cutting room floor.

Your Voice Media correspondent, Ty Cole, was able to chat with Gabe Swarr (Co-Executive Producer), Tress MacNeille (“Dot Warner”), Jess Harnell (“Wakko Warner”), Rob Paulsen (“Yakko Warner” & “Pinky”) & Maurice LaMarche (“The Brain”) about the new season, Queer representation within the program, and which cartoon do they feel would do a successful job at ruling the world.

When asked about having conversations about Queer representation, if it will harm the youth, Swarr disagreed and feels highlighting the Queer community is important to make sure everyone feels "included."

"We hear all the fans, the feedback, and the conversations about Wakko; we want to lean into that as much as we can."

LaMarche told Cole, besides Pinky and the Brain, he feels Bugs Bunny would be a great character to take over the world. Hmm, that doesn't sound so bad.

Get ready for laughs and real conversations with your favorite cartoon trio and binge all 13 episodes of season two of the 'Animaniacs' on Hulu on November 5th.
