Could the queen of hip-hop also become the queen of reality TV and hosting? On Thursday Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to post a clip of the cast of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ singing their own version of her classic single ‘Moment For Life’.

“I’ll be hosting the reunion,” Minaj captioned her post. “Lmk (let me know) what y'all want me to ask chile.”

While some took her seriously offering her congratulations in the comments, many of her followers knew she was just kidding.

However the joke might have actually landed her the gig.

On Friday she took to her Instagram story to post screenshots of a message thread between her and her publicist, Joseph Carozza.

“Andy Cohen said he would gladly give up his seat to have you host the Potomac reunion,” Carozza told Minaj. “Would really be a funny f**king moment.”

Minaj was amped as she responded in all capital letters expressing her interest in hosting the season 6 reunion. “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS,” Minaj responded. “I WANT TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

While season 6 is currently in the process of airing weekly on Sundays, the reunion taping will take place “around October.” As for if Minaj will really end up taking the main stage to discuss Season 6 with the Potomac housewives, we’ll have to wait and see.

Taping may not be until later this year, but Minaj is already planning on how she'll do things. "Don't move! Everyone binge watch all the episodes cuz we finna get into some thangz hunty. My questions will be well thought out, too. Mixed with funny & epic, of course."

This isn’t Minaj’s first go-round bringing up the ‘Housewives’ franchise. Back in her 2017 she was featured on Gucci Mane’s single ‘Make Love’, where she starts her verse off by saying “Ain’t talking housewives but I’m in a Porsche,” referencing Porsha Williams from ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta. Minaj seems to be a huge fan of the series so she’ll do great hosting.

Executive producer of the franchise as well as television host Andy Cohen, has hosted every reunion prior, so it'll be interesting to see how well Minaj does in the coveted seat.

As the famous saying goes, “closed mouths don’t get fed.”
